Lego Lord of Rings Battle of Helms Deep is a very cool construction set that heralds a new era in the much anticipate Lego Lord of Rings range. This particular set tells a fantasy story about a famous battle that occurred many moons ago in the fantasy Lord of the Rings story by JRR Tolkein.
Lego Lord of Rings Battle of Helms Deep 9474 has everything you would expect and much more including the Two Towers in Helms Kingdom. Helm’s Deep is under siege from Uruk-Hai army and this is depicted in the set. In this way, forces from men, elves and dwarves have to use all their guile and power to fight them off. They will not be allowed to destroy the fortress thus the energy has to be destroyed. There are three main defenders who include Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas.
This set has been created with more than 1400 bricks and this makes it a very large castle which is quite a challenge to construct. The whole package includes 9 minifigures which includes Uruk-Hai, Gimli, Aragorn, Theoden and even Haldir. A horse is also contained in the set for the army to use in the war and it really gets steamy. The castle is made up of 2 main level structures and the details are unique. There is a real nice building with enough bricks and the Uruk-Hai army has it all complete. There is a wall that can be incorporated into Helms deep and more minifigures.
There will be new release on Helm’s where there is Gandalf toys and even an inclusion of a big spider. Other minifigures will be included in the set and the whole picture will be complete. It is really an amazing moment when these figures get into action and kids can watch as they press them into action. The Battle of Helms Deep is a must for all Lego fans.
