Toy Fair 2012Toy Fair 2012, the only dedicated toy, game and hobby trade exhibition in the UK, returns to west London at the end of January 2012.

Over 200 toy companies of all shapes and sizes ranging from major toy brands like Hasbro, Character, Bandai and Vivid Imaginations, to innovative and exciting start ups in the Greenhouse Area will be showcasing thousands of brand new toys that you will be able to buy through the new year and beyond.

Toy Fair London 2012 Olympic MascotsExciting launches at the London Toy Fair 2012 include a range of London 2012 products, including Hornby Hobbies’ five iconic ‘Great British Classic’ vehicles offering a lasting memento of the London 2012 Games, Trunki by Magmatic’s London Team GB Trunki ride-on suitcase and Golden Bear’s official Olympic mascots, Wenlock, Mandeville and Pride the Lion.

But it’s much more than just the Olympics at Toy Fair 2012. A wide range of fantastic toys will be launched, from teddies to dolls houses, from wooden toys to board games, from scooters to puzzles. For example, Bandai’s new Thundercats toys, Ben 10 and Power Rangers Samurai products, re: creation’s Darth Vader table lamp will both be launched at Toy Fair 2012. Studio Anne Carlton will mark another key date, the Diamond Jubilee, with its official commemorative chess set while Tomy is showcasing a cuddly Winnie the Pooh plush.

Londo Toy Fair 2012On the opening morning of the show, Toy Fair announces the Best New Toy awards for 2012. These are the hottest launches, as predicted by a panel of retailers, expected for 2012. 2011 winners included included the Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle, Vivid’s Moshi Monsters, Worlds Apart’s Hello Kitty Go Glow Pal, Bandai’s Ben 10 Alien Creation Chamber, Golden Bear’s Ben & Holly Magic Wand and Hasbro’s Star Wars Electronic Lightsaber and many more.
